 A concept solution for those traveling without access to LTE networks that utilizes a mesh network system as well as open source data of city wifi hotspots.

A concept solution for those traveling without access to LTE networks that utilizes a mesh network system as well as open source data of city wifi hotspots.

 The intention is that users would sign up and securely add their home networks (under certain restrictions) to Wifinder. This creates the mesh network which grows in strength and reach with increased number of users. In exchange, when travelling the user would have access to other Wifinder mesh networks and benefit from internet access worldwide without the need for alternate sim cards. Urban spaces would have the best density for success at first but with more prevalent use the system could even reach more rural or remote areas.

 The map system would be in partnership with an existing provider such as google maps; with a compatible user interface for saving locations and staring destinations for offline navigation.
